ps. FWIW, I don't post much of my riding on Strava. Every once in a while I get a yearning to test something, and the segments are interesting.

Even more impressive, then. It's hard enough to shed unwanted pounds for me, and I just turned 30. I rode in Pinehurst this summer while visiting my sister in law, some of those roads are just completely empty for miles and miles. Nice.

Your shoulder turn is almost non existent, and the club face is too open. My bet is that you came over the top, and hit a weak fade.
Seriously, impressive ride

An impressive effort especially all by yourself. A friend did the same thing in an organized century. He used others for pacing but didn't draft anyone - he just got added motivation keeping up with others. He felt that added at least a full mph to his pace.

Haven't you heard? Cycling is the new golf for rich corporate bigwigs. Pinarello sales reps are thrilled.

I have to admit that it is easier to spend $10K on a bicycle (before accessories) than it is on a set of golf clubs (before accessories) - but not impossible.
OTOH, it is easy to spend $10K/year on where you play golf and not so easy to spend $10K/year on where you ride. So clearly the answer is country clubs for cyclists, whatever that might mean.

ps. And then there is The $75,000 set of golf clubs - MarketWatch
