Leg Shaving?

Whats the reason for shaving the legs when biking? Do those tiny hairs really influence anything? Also, are shoe covers/Seals really ment to do anything but heat the foot under colder conditions?

Try doing a search I think there is a gret debate on shave or no to shave every week or so.

The toe covers are for warmth...and a little more protection from water... and I think the main two reasons for shaving are easier to heal if you crash (road rash) and easier for massages. That said I haven't done it yet... Since I can wear shorts at work.. I would be brutalized... ;)

I just shaved my mustache that I've had for about 20 years. When the guys at work asked about it, I told them I did it for improved wind resistance on my bike. It's not true, but it makes for a good story.

I probably go through the explanation at least 10 times a year sometimes to the same people.. Go figure

Yep, at least 10 times per year!

I do it mainly for looks. One side benefit is lots of curious girls rubbing your legs to check it out. :D Sold!

Coz you look like a tool if you don't.

:D

Because the 100 other guys on the start line do... enough excuse
