Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

These are pretty awesome. It would be nice to see some bikes with these on them.

I dig the high-flange front hub.

What do you guys think?

1545 grams.

Pretty nice looking. I wonder how much stronger, if any, the use of the high flange hubs gets them. I wonder if American Classic is looking for a 230lb rider to see if they can beat up their wheels....they might look nice on my bike.....

I'm not a weight weenie per se, but I appreciate finely engineered bike parts.

Right now, I'm riding a 2090 gram wheeset and while they are heavy they are pretty stiff and absolutely bulletproof.

The High flange is supposed to increase the bracing angle (increase lateral stiffness) and shorten the spokes at the same time (possibly increasing radial stiffness)

That 120 psi limitation wasn't listed there just a couple days ago.

Thanks for bringing us all these wheel threads lately, 53-11. I'd like to get a new wheelset in a few months and this is helping me decide what I need. Thanks!

Anybody know the price of this wheelset?
