Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

COLNAGO Decor Age

I have a Colnago Decor frame in blue 'art decor' livery. i am trying to date the frame. I believe it could be from early 1990's but struggling to find information about the model. All references seem to refer to decor as a paint scheme rather than a model. Can anyone enlighten me?

That's because Decor is a paint scheme - there's decor frames dating from around the early 90s to the present day. The one you're referring to is probably AD10, which has been on a number of Colnago frames throughout those years.

Pictures of the frame will help much more.

I bought a used early 2000s Colnago and wanted to know its precise year of manufacture and what its primary paint color was called. I emailed info@colnago.com with its serial number and they were able to tell me both.

Post this in the Classic & Vintage forum with at least one drive side picture (multiple would be good) and you will get an answer quickly.
