Only one way to find out, though the forces while stationary would be different. I'd recommend having someone you trust fire the round while you're pedaling past them, preferably at 20+ mph.

I'm really not sure on what, specifically, I want out of the trainer sessions for the remainder of the winter. Obviously, I can get stronger both aerobically and anaerobically, but I don't feel like my short- and long-term numbers are horrible at an absolute level... but being 90kg, doesn't really help my W/Kg. Maybe I just keep on keepin' on for the next 4-6 weeks - I've avoided the typical (or at least my typical) winter slide thus far, and that's a good start. Then maybe I'll see where I am and decide whether it makes more sense to focus on the W or on the Kg or a little of both.

Fun fact: Paris-Roubaix has started not in Pars but Compiègne since 1977, so the race is nowhere really close to Paris.
But they still call it Paris-Roubaix. I suppose Compiègne-Roubaix does not have the same brand recognition.

I did not do much riding last year so I'm using the next few months to get back my cycling fitness that was lost in 2016.

The Minnesota Duathlon swag is all labeled Minneapolis Duathlon and it actually takes place in Rosemount, Minnesota which is really not close to Minneapolis at all.

I've replaced average speed?! Huzzah!

I was thinking of the same example. Ironically, it used to be the Paris-Dakar rally and didn't even start in Paris, just somewhere in southern France for a few stages before moving across the Med. Obviously it's not even on the African continent now, though I'd argue the backdrop is even more impressive in South America.
