Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

ANT+ vs Bluetooth Smart

As I contemplate the Wahoo Elemnt Bolt I need to consider which transmission type to use. I already have ANT+ Garmin chest strap and cadence sensor. I would need a speed sensor and am trying to get some feedback on ANT+ vs. Bluetooth Smart if anyone has used both.

I would be surprised if the Wahoo RPM speed and cadence sensors didn't work perfectly with the Bolt.

About $65 for the pair or $40 list for just the speed or cadence but they are a lot cheaper if you shop around.

I own three pair of these running bluetooth to a Polar V650. Pairing was quick and they work find. Firmware can be updated.
