I stink at Frisbee.

@WhyFi down and out?

I know what I'll be practicing this coming week:

jtaylor996 04-04-17 03:20 PM

I've only done the bad, unintentional kinds of endos. Most of those on the MTB ended horrifically (nothing broken, though), ones on the road bike I've managed to ride out of.

jtaylor996 04-04-17 03:22 PM

Long before I had a MTB I was actually practicing some of this stuff on a road bike. You'd be surprised how often a bunny hop comes in handy on a road ride to impress people in the group (tri geeks' minds explode, especially). I mean, I'm not going to impress anyone on a bike any other way... Might as well just loft my fat ass over that crack everyone else in the group is having an epileptic fit about, rather than swerve into the people next to me.

Wash your mouth out with soap.

topslop1 04-04-17 05:01 PM

Oh my. I lifted weights for like 19 minutes. Found out how weak I am between too much coffee, not enough sleep, working an active job again, and being generally fat.

Oh I took Benadryl today too. Says right on it now "Do not give to children to make them sleepy".

I consider threadless stems to be one of the great mechanical improvements in the last 20 years.

Uhh so there's like no rod to go through the middle of this here disc thing that then locks into the base. Stupid or missing part, can't decide.

Yes. We got snow at lunchtime. MT heat wave!

Still love this town. Found a house for $44K and I'm tempted to buy it.

That's exactly what a I wanted to say, but couldn't figure out how to not sound hyperbolic. You know how I hate sounding hyperbolic, don't you?

There should be a pointed shaft that threads into it.

That may well be; I have no experience with them. But I doubt I will ever grow to like the look of them. That said, I am now happily using quick links, after I sprung for the special pliers.
