Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Smartphone Top Tube Bag Recommendation

Have a Giant Defy 2. Like to add a top tube smartphone bag so I can use my Fitbit/Smartphone to monitor my ride.

Any recommendations? I have a BLU Rd1 smartphone (about 3" x 6") with a 5" display.

Just wanting to make sure stays in place. Been reading reviews on Amazon about bags that can't securely mount to the bike frame.

Thanks

kannon

I have one of these (in black) on both bikes. No problems with the phone moving, slipping, etc.
Handleband - Universal Smartphone Bar Mount

I have mine mounted on the stem (so I can see the phone) but you can mount it on the top tube if thats what you want to do

thanks - I saw this - good for phone but looking more for a bag that keeps water out plus can throw in a few things - energy bar, keys,... just a little room. Want to make sure bag doesn't move around and no interference with leg motion on my Defy

BTW - love my Defy 2 - my first real road bike!
