Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I was kinda serious. OP's other thread was about carbon wheels just because which I understood.
I mentioned in early 80s I worked for a guy who had about (guess ~$1m) in bike stuff. So I get the mindset, although, as explained, it is not mine. But it is a collector mindset, so when the word weapon was used - I was interested. That is my mindset.

If go fast, or least time (they are different) are truly the battles, I think it is very exciting, although a crowded space.
For me, how fast, or how little time, are less important than did the rider execute and optimize for that. I'd get into my 90 year old father-in-law executing, just as I did my kid.

Only 2. They're not as fast as my Enve wheels.

Seems you have switched from the "just because" to fastest setups.
I would not buy that wheel, although I do think it is great. I buy into the dimples on a disc (so bought a Zipp - two discs). The flow on the HEDs were also good. We (team) selected HED.
It did (the one in my garage) win the current junior worlds ITT.
But then speed was more important than price, and of course, Dohar was flat.

I would select your disc for a 2-4% uphill TT or where I would see ~25mph or better.
Flatter I'd go Zipp or HED. Steeper I'd go steel spokes.

Crits, RR - steel spokes.

That would get the least time, and best speed.

How many 16-20 DT Aerolite or Sapim cx-Ray spoke sets do you have?
Tell us about the rims too.

I am fat so I tacoed 4 of them last year JRA. So no, I will not buy them again. They keep replacing them for me, though. Such a great company.

Meilenstein Lightweight also offers carbon fiber water bottle cages and matching bottles.. Great looking stuff as a pair of these will be going on the new bike build..

You know...Lightweight makes FRAMES too! That would impress us much more than bottles and cages, although these are very nice too. Make sure you fill those bottles with LIGHTWEIGHT WATER! It's about 20% lighter than regular water and costs about 100x more! Bottled straight from the Rhine!

They only make one style (with and without disc brakes). No specifications on the weight. Only geometry information that I could find. I wonder how those compare...

Only 8 spokes? I know those deep rims are stronger with all the extra material, but I'd probably still break those if I just looked at them wrong.

Safe to assume you'll only fill those with carbonated water, correct?

Dear TrekMogul, can you buy a Speedvagen or Seven next? This was hilarious and I look forward to reading more $20K purchase threads.
