Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Help Me ID My Bike

I picked up my bike 2nd hand. A steal for $500 no matter how this turns but I can't seem to identify this bike. The details from the guy I purchased it from were 2007 Campy Veloce parts. The frame says "Carbon" on it so figured it was a 2007 Viner Gladius, which was a Carbon bike. But when knocking on the frame, it sounds tinny, not like the forks. It feels a little heavier than I thought a Carbon bike would feel or else I just need to work on my upper body strength.

Never had a Carbon frame, weren't around last time I rode.

Thanks for any help.

Crappy pic but I think the 'carbon' decal refers to the seatstays not the frame. It appears the frame may be aluminum.
