Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I don't want to speak for the OP, but I was born in 1987. Look around you. What do you see being fomented--especially in this country right now, if not hate. Maybe this is why it is foremost in our minds and expressions.

Is it a noisy path, because if it was a quite park or preserve, you could be disturbing others.
It's the Manhattan Hudson River Greenway, directly beside the Henry Hudson highway with cars going >60 mph barely 20' away, so yeah...not quiet at all.

There aren't many quiet and tranquil places around here, and if I do go into a place like that I'd turn the music down or off.

I know the area, my son lives in Riverdale and we've run down that way.

And yeah, I like to think that I'm educating people about what good music is...not the pop stuff that a lot of people like.

Always fun being educated about what good music is, by being forced to listen to it. Kind of like Harley riders who want us all to understand what a good motorcycle sounds like.

With the proper synchronization maybe you can cancel out the micro-accelerations in that holds back riders who worry about wheel weight.
