Hm. You're suggesting he actually ride these bikes? Maybe. But I think, in order for that to happen, he needs a set of MEILENSTEIN LIGHTWEIGHT WHEELS first.

I am riding alone for now... everyone I know that rides, their average speed is 18 mph and over... I don't want to be slowing them down. Once I have the ability to go 50 miles while maintaining a decent average speed, I will start joining them in their rides.
And yeah... I do enjoy the build process... and yes, these will see the road and, hopefully, many many miles of use.
And I do have a good sense of humor... but really guys...
Several other threads where you can share those thoughts...

And eventually there will be C rides with EastSide. They happen occasionally -- usually when the weather gets better I guess.

I bought a fuji spotif a couple weeks ago and rode about 65 miles so far. I'm still learning the terminology and collecting all the gear I need. Maybe in a couple months I will look into building a nicer bike just a lot to learn right now.
Thanks for all the positive motivation

2.7 it was the cheapest one I could find. I got 2 of them so my lady and I can ride when we travel. They we never supposed to be more than that but after some testing I really enjoy riding.
Can someone post a link to who makes this frame?

Ok... so this one took awhile to finish... between work, family, etc... I have been using the first bike built... but needed to finish this one so that my son can join me in the rides. Well, finally got around to cutting the fork, installing everything... just need to adjust it so all gears shift correctly...
