I like this idea... hell, give him his own little forum so the main road forum page isn't so polluted with pointless questions.

Now, now, I like his curiosity. It's not like he's pulling our chains (fuji_cyclist)

Yes, I ride my ass off because I'm a novice who's eager to learn. I commute downtown to my casino 3 days a week on my late- starting shifts (25 miles round trip in 90 degree heat) and take a friggin' sponge bath in the locker room sink since we have no shower, get dressed and deal craps to people for 8 hours and then ride up a long ascent home in the dark. I put 427 non-race/ no club ride- miles on my bike in May.
On weekends, I work on my "big man's achilles heel" -climbing - out at Mt. Charleston - Las Vegas pretty brutal version of the Alpe de Huiz- what a *****!
So for a guy who was sitting on his ass playing Van Halen on his guitar and drinking too much beer 2 months ago, I'm glad think I'm addicted to a form of low -impact exercise finally (always hated running - no fun). I've already gone from 212 lbs to 200 lbs at 6'2". Goal is 185 lbs.
Hell, I even tape the OLN races on weekends and have bought '03-04' Tour De Lance DVDs! I want to get the old Eddy Merckx classic "A Sunday in Hell" next.
Basically, I'm no poseur or troll. I basically have a musician's mind and weird **** pops into my head alot- that's how you write songs!

You climbing Charleston now? That's pretty damn good. I drove around up there in the rental car once. How many miles to the top?

Some of the hardcore seasoned guys who work at my LBS and who can climb like mountain goats say that the toughest thing once you get in the top 1/2 of the mountain is breathing, since the air is so thin.
Kinda scares the hell out of my rookie arse!

No, I like this idea. Make it a sticky, and update it everyday. Not meant as in insult, just, you know, like the SinBlog or something...

i'm not a GenMayer. another message board that i frequent often links to their threads to poke fun at them. 25 page threads where most of the responses are "OMFG!!!!" or just quotes of other people are pretty damn pointless.

I'm a [H]ardforums person myself...we poke the crap out of Genmay at times, just because they are pretty much the hellspawn from that forum become it's own.
.well the H has brought back General mayhem on a pay basis...pay $5 a year to help Kyle cover some bandwidth and you can be offtopic as much as you want I think my last post in that area was something to do with the disturbing shortage of wasabi peas in the area since Kash N Karry has quit stocking them....odd too since I bought like 5 cans a week.

his threads are all hypotheticals like "Uhh what if I..." or "Are cycling shorts gay" (look at his profile history, an exercise in bandwidth wasted)
and "shiftnjohn" above is a know troll that posts under about 5 different user ids
