Altos Carbon Wheels
Folks does anybody out there have any experience with the Altos Carbon wheels. They are a fairly new company out of Sarasota and have developed a newer technology for stiffness on wheels. They are not cheap by any means. Wanted to hear from folks that have them

Nothing good comes out of Florida but episodes of "Cops" and contestants on Maury Povich.

There is some benefit (if you're into that sort of thing) --it's an interesting read:

you realize increasing hub flange diameter has nothing to do with rim material, right?

(even tho Rolf seems to think making gigantic NDS flanges is cool...)

Any coincidence that you and Bikeracer123 just happen to have nearly the same join date and just happen to be from Florida where Alto claims to produce their 'Made in the USA' wheels? With an unqualified 'Made in the USA' claim like that (https://altocycling.com/pages/about) I'm really wondering where they are sourcing their spokes and rims from and how the Japanese NSK bearings factor into that claim ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.bikeforums.net/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
