I've only ever used a borrowed truing stand. I've only done some basic re-truing and spoke replacements though. Well, I guess I basically rebuilt a set of wheels on a WalMart bike my wife was using as a commuter. At first I was trying to true them up, but they were so pepe'd up that I had to take out all the tension and start over.

We're gonna finish that back wall with steel doors, like the rest, and a ceiling over the pool. We enjoy living outside. We sometimes think of it like a picnic shelter.

People don't think it be like it be, but it do... as far as diversity in Dallas. In fact, my office sits across from a Korean mega-church. There's a HUGE korean population here. We take my kids to one of the big korean shopping malls all the time. They have the best ice cream and stuff.

Because everything changes, relatively, every time you make that move. By starting over, you bring them all up together.

Y'all are making me want to build some wheels. I need carbon on my 650B+ set... but alas the hubs that came with it are not worth reusing, so I won't save anything building my own. Maybe the time after next. Also, I'm broke.

For simple spoke replacements I don't even bother with a truing stand.

Wentz is asking for it. He took on a tackler head on more than once last night. He's obviously been working out with the kickers in the weight room again, thinks he's a tough guy. The NFL stands for 'Not For Long', son.

Despite not drinking beer, I have been to Noble Rey... I used to know the head brewer guy there, but they had a falling out over copyright to the beers he was creating, or some such nonsense. Yes I'm a guy who can go to a brewery for where all beer is free and they have like 40 types, and not drink any. It's my super power.

Real talk, these roads jacked up, cracked hard or potholed. I roll out with 90-100psi always because I'd be snakebiting everything at 80psi. That and I ride my road bike like it's an extension of the mountain bike. You can pop wheelies off of anything and everything if you try hard enough.

I have built a number of alloy wheels. I enjoy it immensely. Something about crabon......one day I hope I can see it for what it is. I don't use a store bought truing stand, btw. Or a tensiometer. I don't think of crabon wheels as being flexible enough to go out of true and be brought back in with spoke tension. I suppose I am wrong.

Apparently, brass is stronger.
It's definitely easier to turn on a lathe, something I used to do.
Oddly, the BOM from the factory rebuild lists a dozen brass nipples and the rest alloy.
They may have used brass on the rear drive side.
