Allied Cycle Works
Hi guys,
This company looks awesome. I love that they're MUSA from start to finish in Arkansas.
The Alpha looks like a great bike, but not much info available on it yet. Does anyone have any riding impressions or info to share?
thanks

PepeM Yea me too, A bike under 15lbs for ~$4500 hand made in America? Throw in some of their awesome paint and I'm sold. Maybe I'll have one in a couple months
Wileyrat Yea thats all I can find too. They're marketing kinda reminds me of Compass, the way everything is wax'd poetic.

A member of my bike club won a custom alpha with ultegra Di2 at the Big Dam Bridge ride. She got a tour of the facility, a custom fitting, and gets to pick from a fairly dizzying array of paint options. Personally, if I were in the market for a carbon road bike, they would be near the top of my bike porn viewing. So much more interesting than the big boys, made in the USA, good quality, great minds behind the company too. Good stuff.

I have one. Just got it put together using Alto CC52 Wheels and Dura Ace 9100 groupset. I just have a shake down ride on it.
I'll chime back in after the weekend, I have two very fast club rides on Wednesday and Thursday and I'm doing a century this Saturday. I'll have a better idea on how it rides then.
So far I'm digging it.

Without sounding like a advertisement the bike is compliant yet stiff where it's supposed to be. I can't really put my finger on it but it has a different feel to it than any other carbon bike I have been on.
It tracks well and handles predictably. The bike is responsive when sprinting or riding hard yet has the comfort of a road bike designed for comfort.
If your in the market for a high end frame set that's not aero Its a great choice. It's priced like other high end carbon frames but it's "Made Here".

Stumbled upon their website looking for something else, but was floored by their look and subsequent reviews found on Google. I have yet to see something bad and as noted, made here in the USA. How cool is that?
If I wasn't going after a new Lynskey, this would definitely be something I would look long at hard at. The All Road they have looks like it was designed for me.
Hope to see more folks chiming in and posting experiences with theirs. Pics are a bonus.
I do hope Allied does well I think they are off to a good start. Read somewhere that they got 150 pre-orders so they didn't want to advertise due to the early backlog. Can't complain about that. Just wondering if they'll be able to sell enough to keep the doors open. They ain't cheap!
