Best cycling gloves for 40 degrees?

It's getting cold in the Northeast so I'm looking for gloves that will be warm at 40-50 degrees. I doubt I'll ride in the 30s.
CASTELLI ESTREMO GLOVES

Those seem promising but pricey at $90
I also tried the Pearl Izumi Thermal Lites and they don't seem too warm and are 99% polyester so will probably return them.
Any other recommendations?

A perfect glove for what you want is the Castelli Spettacolo. Gore windstopper and a fleece lining. Breathes well and has a wide range. Very trim - not bulky. Great feel on the bars and easy to work shifters or your phone.

Cannondale's Three Season Glove-mitten, its got a roll back/tuck away wind mitten cover that goes over the full fingered glove, not to warm and can be worn as a light regular cool weather glove as well. Black only, mine are starting their 3rd year of use and still look great.
