Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Does Map My Ride have a navigation system?

I have been using Map My Ride for years to track workouts, both walking and biking. Now I want to upgrade to the paid version and need to know if that version also gives one access to a navigation gps.
Can you please reply with info. on this and/or a link where I can find answers to this question.

Thanks.

The current free version you use already has a GPS map.
And if you want to create and follow a route, you can do that too on the free version.

I think that answers your question?...the app is, at its core, a navigation tool using GPS, so yeah it would give access to 'navigation gps'.

Thanks for the reply. I think if I want to send the route I've created to my android and have
turn by turn directions fed back to me as I ride I need "Route Genius" and I don't think that's available
with the free version. Although I'm not positive about that. That's why the question here.
Thoughts?

Regards,
Len
