Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

But if you assume they don't see you, riding in their path on the road would be verboten. You'd have to assume you'd be hit from behind.

Alright smart a$$ you got me. Good point. I guess I am referring more to the cross traffic because I feel they are more likely to hit me than the guy behind me.

Make a mase gun one of your road trip items, they work very well; not that I would ever use one of those things lol...A mirror too, I like the kind that mounts on the inside of your glasses lense; looks and works just like a tiny car rear view mirror and your the only one that sees it.
