Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So now it's a shoe fetish.

Question, what cars do you have?

They're ugly, but that doesn't affect how they might ride. If one were to wear them.

I like me some sidi shoes but those... are not attractive. I may be the only guy left in north america that doesn't care about the boa fasteners either. Meh. Gimme a ratchet.

I'm sure they're expensive and exclusive, but they're also ghastly looking. Shame no Boas

For special edition shoes, Mavic does a better design job IMO.. if your tastes are so inclined:

The black and yellow pair is nice, but nothing truly unique.

I'd consider some custom made Bonts.

But if the shoe fits...

Those are some of the more restrained Sidi special edition shoes I can remember. Gray/pink isn't too awful but kinda med for what those kicks cost.

They made 3 of the special edition Matt Blacks ones and I have ordered all 3 however so far only the matt black and yellow backs came in. The other 2 are matt black and red flame back and 3rd is matt black and blue flames. Also the matt grey with pink breast cancer awareness I think.. Even the boxes on the outside say limited edition. They are really nicely made and i happen to love all 4 pairs..

Mogul - can you start using the CAPS again. It's you, what separates you from all others. You may want to throw in a sideways pic ever now and again. Just to honor the past.

BTW, I really like the light blue ones.

nice shoes, but I’d rather see the OP post his cycling related purchases in the thread that was made for that purpose.

If everyone one started a thread about their latest cycling related purchase, the forum would be clogged with threads like this one.

If he hid his shoe fetish in THAT thread we wouldn't get to properly enjoy the thread.

Local farm auction produced this car about 20 years ago for my wife and I. We were bored one sunday afternoon and thought we would check out the local estate auction and came home with it. The original owner was killed in WW2 and widow had it last plated in 1948. The car is 100% all original including tires etc..We drove it home from the sale and it has set every since. I am not a motor head but thought it was kewl to have..

maybe we disagree, but I don’t see the need to start a new thread everytime someone makes a cycling related purchase.
