Is this brand good? I found one local that has a campy mirage 10sp drivetrain. Wondering if the brand is any good.

Yes, they're good bikes. They've been building bikes for close to 100 years. The Euskaltel-Euskadi team campaigned through numerous grand tours on Orbeas in the 90's and 00's. Originally built in Spain and Portugal (although who knows where bike frames are actually produced these days). I used to know the guys who set up Orbea USA in Little Rock AR - they were good solid bikers

Yep, back in the day they were quite good and I think the rep for today's bikes are still there. It's just hard now days to tell who's really making their own frames anymore.

A Orbea quite like mine was good enough in 1985 for Pedro Delgado to win the Vuelta with and a TDF stage or two.

IIRC, their frames are designed in Spain, but built in Asia, and shipped to Spain for finishing and paint.

Orbea is an interesting company in another way: they are part of the Mondragon Worker's Cooperative, the largest worker's cooperative in the world.

They're very nice bikes. I rode one when I was in the market for a new bike and nearly bought one. Probably the only reason I didn't was because the shop didn't have one with a group set any better than tiagra. One of my best friends has one and loves it.

Thanks guys, a guy has one local, I'm a little interested in it. My mechanic is steering me away from it. It's a 10speed campagnolo mirage drivetrain
he lives campy but says that mirage was not that good. Idk. Stll interested.

The only thing you want to know about the Campy group is the crank setup. Is it Ultra Torque or Power Torque. The Power Torque requires a special tool for removal and Campy no longer supports it. They still use the Ultra Torque. Other than that the Mirage 10 speed is just fine. Please note that Campy specific parts are expensive when compared to others, but wear items such as chains, cogs, etc. are no different as long as they are other than Campy branded.

Yeah idk what the deal is, kinda getting the feeling that my bike store is just trying to sell me a bike. I like the guy, he's a hell of a mechanic. My gut is telling me to take a hard look at it. The frame is made in Spain not in Asia. Has a campy group and the guy said the bike can't have more than 50 miles on it. Said he's ridden the bike 2 maybe 3 times and it's been in storage since. I'm thinking if it is what he says it is. I'll have it tuned up, figure on tires and tubes and I should be good to go. I mean am I missing something?

When I get back home tomorrow I'm gonna go check it out. I've been saving, I have my eye on a fuji from my shop. But if this is a good bike i may pick it up instead.

Once I rode it, I had to have it. I think I got a great deal.

I did, just got through making a few adjustments. I love this thing. Really sweet even if it is entry level. Way more bike for the money than I could buy new. The bike has only been ridden a few times. It's still brand new. I'm stoked!
