Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thinking more temperature and humidity changes. I've lived here 48 years and haven't seen anyone come to FL to watch the leaves change.

Bikes: yes

I generally know when I look around, leaves are brown, and the sky is a hazy shade of winter.

The annual "Fall Colors Ride" in North Georgia is typically the second week in November.

The sky is currently a hazy shade of death. This is worse than anything I've ever seen. Rain can't come soon enough.

Speaking of fall Forrest, our base layer is packed but I haven't had a chance to drope it off.

Darkness, May, June, July I can leave for my morning ride at 0500 with just my blinking light. For the last 2 weeks I've needed my L&M Seca 2500 light for a solid 30-40 minutes before I switch it to blink mode.
