I did my longest ride on Saturday,,,it was called the Tour De Kale in Denton, NC. I was 86th out of 126 riders. I have been riding for 5 months, so I am really proud of my results. This was a very hilly course with one hill that required my lowest gear and I was actually picking up the front tire as I climbed. It was tough.
I guess it will just take lots of riding to get into the 20+ average speed. I am now doing 19mph average.
