What's your favorite Phil Liggett phrase?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What's your favorite Phil Liggett phrase?

Here's some of mine:

"He is in agony on this brutal climb!"

"The riders are suffering up this tortuous ascent!"

And my personal fave so far, describing Ullrich:

"He is a beast of a man on the bicycle, steamrolling up this mountain while turning a massive gear!"

Phil paints great mental images - you can almost feel the riders' pain

I just remember his screaming "every second counts" as Lance sprinted to the finish of stage 17 last year. It was pretty intense from the way Phil was saying it. It added a lot to the tension of that stage.

"Well he's thrown a spanner in the works." (when someone attacks)
"And he leaves the debris behind." (after a strong sprint)
"He is all over his bike now." (as a guy struggles)
"The elastic is about to snap." (when a breakaway is caught)

Any of Phil's "spot of bother' quips. But he's had so many great lines you can't pick just one.

Phil is so goddamned excellent. So's Paul.

really amusing stuff, however I have absolutely no clue who it is. I'm assuming he's an announcer for cycle racing? Sounds like he'd be pretty interesting to hear.

Does it mean catching a great rider asleep on an attack?
