Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I just turned off the tv (watching the tour on tape...fast forward is great!) and just remembered that it was past midnight (I played online the on Sat) and figured I could play again...the first square said Livestrong Notebook so I figured all was lost...the next square said the same and I figured for sure the last would say keychain, but it too said Livestrong Notebook!

I won!

I just won the Bissell vacuum cleaner. As someone else stated, it's something you need but dont want to spend $200-$300 on. Good deal, our vacuum is starting to go, and we're about to move to a new house, so it will defnitely be a needed item, and will be much appreciated that we didnt have to spend the $$ ourselves.

Only question now...does playing with more than one email address disqualify you? Will they bother to check?

I'll take them!!!! I am serious, if you don't want them. I haven't won anything. Played 3x per day, every single day of the tour.

Won the water bottle on the last day, so all totalled, I won:
1 peak bar, 2 keychains, and 1 water bottle.
I was hoping for something to wear, the t-shirt, jersey or hat... oh well.
Guess I'll go pick up my prizes at the LBS tomorrow.

I won the key chain and picked it up...my LBS is fairly close by. Not to denigrate the quality or anything, and at least I won *something*, but it is similar quality to the little advertising trinkets you might pick up at, say, a business conference. My son likes it, gave it to him.

Well online I have won a Peak Bar, KeyChain, and Water Bottle.

In store I have won another Peak Bar and Key Chain.

Then yesterday (Saturday) the last day my Trek dealer is open to give out scratch off my buy behind the counter shows be a gigantic stack of cards that will be tossed...hmmm. He then hands me a "few" cards. So I sneak em in the pocket and come home to play for a while... WOOHOO!!! Discovery Hat, Peak Bar, Key Chain. Not bad. Love the LBS.

I was wondering what it looked like, too, before I picked it up since I couldn't find a picture of it on the Team or contest page. It's one piece, a rubber/plastic-molded (flexible) 2-D "shirt" with the gray and blue Discovery team colors with white Discovery and AMD letters, Trek in black letters. Not real robust construction, I see it coming apart when the the small ring wears through the small chain hole where it is fastened to the "shirt". Fortunately my son is old enough that I'm not worried about it becoming a choking hazard when it inevitably comes apart.

If you used it as a key fob, my guess is that it may last a few months until the fatigue from pulling it out of pocket several times finally wears through hole where the small chain is fastened.

Like I said, my LBS is close by.

I'm pretty sure that if you declare 49 bucks in gifts it's not going to push you into the next tax bracket...but than again, you better check your accountant.

Now if you can find an item being sold on the street for less, could you declare that as the value and not the full retail price?

You won those three items online? You need to play the "pick 3" lottery and put some of that luck to work for some serious pocket change! All I got was the key chain after playing all those days.

You must have a lucky horse shoe stored somewhere....

:-)

What *are* you going to do with those three key chains? E-Bay? The hat is a keeper.

I just noticed that someone on ebay is auctioning off a winning "but unclaimed" Trek Lucky 7 sweepstakes ticket (a baseball hat). You'd better hurry.....all prizes must be claimed by August 31st!
