Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

2019 Reynolds AR58/58x Tubeless Tire Fit

Hey all,

As we all know, tubeless tire fit can be hit or miss depending on the type of rim and tire. I'll be picking up a set of Reynolds AR58 wheels over the holidays and was wondering if anyone here has them, and have been running tubeless. Which tires were able to be mounted without much fuss and were you able to seat the bead with a floor pump?

Thanks and Merry Christmas

I found a video made 6 months ago from Speed Vision Bikes showing GP5000TL being installed without tools. Appears that there is no issue.

Ive fitted the Schwalbe Pro One TL easy (or whatever the name for the Pron One is these days), to some Reynolds attack wheels. So far they have been the easiest mounting TL tire I’ve used. But contrary to some the only tire I’ve ever been able to seat with a floor pump (and one of the new pressurized ones at that) has been the Gp 5000. All others have required a shot from a compressor for me.

I have Reynolds carbon R Fours and I got Continental 5000 tl could only get one on after two hours. I tried every trick in the book . My hands were so sore I had to go to my lbs for the second wheel. They took two hours and lots of swearing to get them on. Of course they didn't line up the logo. Good luck
