Removing graphics from carbon frame
I have new Cervelo R5, dark green. It has completely in your face white graphics on the down tube and inside surfaces of the forks. Anyone here have experience removing these? I have a heat gun, but not sure if it’s safe to use on a carbon fiber frame. Certainly not necessary to do, but the bike would sure look a lot cleaner without the huge graphics (IMO)

It sounds like your warranty isn't important to you.

The graphics are under the clear coat, so the only way to remove them is to remove the clear coat...aka pay a pro to have it repainted, if you hate them that much

my nice bike is at home
Heat guns and carbon do not mix well.... I think the slick way to conquer this, and I have a similar disaffection for one of my frames...is to mask the graphics and paint over them in gloss or matte green or carbon-color..this involves experts with vinyl-plotting machines etc,. or an exact-o knife and a ****-ton of tape.
Might be easier to do with block-like graphics, splashy graphics will be nearly impossible to mask-out....
Otherwise: spray the whole frame flat-black and call it a day.

Get some paint and paint over/cover up the offending graphics.

Whatever you do, don't use a heat gun with carbon. You'll damage the frame and make it unsafe to ride for sure.
An easy solution to the problem would be to ride more, and look less at the frame

Go back in time and reconsider your purchase.
Or just live with it - it's actually a nice looking bike.

We don't have a puke emoji, or I'd use it here.

The graphics are most likely under the clear coat; you can't remove them. I feel you however on the contrast... The Cervelo logo is huge.
