Its Global, you can look at the road up alpe d huez, or mount ventoux etc...
pretty cool, I found my wifes house is NSW Australia, the Dorm I lived in in College, all the race tracks I raced at (motorcycle) a couple of velodromes, Our favorite beach in St Lucia

go to regular google, and type in the name of the city and "GPS" or "coordinate" a lot of times you will get hits that have the longitude and latitude of the city, that will help.

I used the pro version at a business conferene. It is really impressive stuff. I was able to sit down and talk with one of the coders for awhile, google has big plans for this software .

check out this pic, its of the mini volcano located on the outskirts of town. that road along the base is part of my favorite ride and thats a fun little climb on the left.

anyone figure out how to use some placemark's to mark out a route and find the distance???
other then putting in a start and finish and pressing search? wonder if there's a way to do a start to finish search then input some of your own directions...
