Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oh, ok. I see now that it's just one of many specific climbs, chosen from a drop down menu of profiles on that website. I got all excited there for a minute, as I had thought that maybe you had done that profile yourself, and that maybe such a thing was possible through the Google Earth beta. Sigh... oh well.

go to regular google, and type in the name of the city and "GPS" or "coordinate" a lot of times you will get hits that have the longitude and latitude of the city, that will help.

Just so you know, you can go "File/Save Image/" instead of using a screen capture.. It will save a JPG of the area shown..

anyone figure out how to use some placemark's to mark out a route and find the distance???

other then putting in a start and finish and pressing search? wonder if there's a way to do a start to finish search then input some of your own directions...

EDIT: woops, just found the path line feature
