Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm taking the misses out to dinner tonight. She'll be more apt to agree to this madness after a few glasses of wine

Well that sucks. Closest place showing it is 124 miles from here....I guess my 50" HDTV will have to do.

if the signal is as good as OLN's channel then I'm not sure if it's worth it, might be better to just turn on the TV

8 miles, Starts at 730, I'm thinking if I leave to ride at 5ish, I can be back by 7 shower and have a nice 3/1/2hr recovery.

Nuh! not worth it. Nothing beats your own TV, holding a cold refreshing beer.

Watching a 5 hour race in a movie theater with no opportunity to walk away for a few minutes while pausing the action on TIVO does not excite...
