You win. I should have ridden outside yesterday before it started snowing. It was only 20° but the wind wasn’t too bad. May be a week before I see an outdoor ride again.

Wow, drums in the back? Pretty crazy either way.

Luckily I never blew out any brake cylinders or broke any clutch cables on the 'yotas I owned. I only took one past 200k though.

I blew out a wheel cylinder on my 65 Chevy truck. Partly my fault because I put new brake shoes on and didn't rebuild the cylinders. I drove that truck for 19 years with single circuit non power 4 wheel drum brakes. Sold it with about 300k on it.

Upon the model. I have not made an analysis of the group.

Correct. Not one word about the SuperBowl today.

I've been using a 7 day pill organizer for years, because my meds for hypertension don't make me feel any different, so I can't use that to tell whether I took them.

BTW, those pill organizers are great for storing wrist watch parts.

And humans didn't evolve there independently, so people must like it or find it difficult to leave.

How are people going to leave without an aeroplane?

Yeah, but the first people there had come from other, similar tropical islands.....

To be fair, my brother and SIL spent at least 10 years planning, visiting, getting into the local culture, etc before they moved. They decided they weren't just going to live there, but rather really get into it. And they've even adopted the local custom of vacationing in Las Vegas every year. I imagine if you moved there on a whim, or because your company or the government sent you, it would be very different. Seems fun for a while, but then the fact that it's so different from where you grew up starts to get to you. Hell, that even happens to people who move to California, and it's not as different as Hawaii.

Exactly. A friend from my residency days who joined a neurology practice there, thinking it would be heaven. He knew he wanted to leave after the first weekend when a party cruise on one of the partner's boats ended in a drunken disaster. Then there's the whole ***** thing.

Whoa! it censored the H-word!

My brother said you really have to get used to how things work there, and that you're not going to get anything done really fast. I think it's been really good for my SIL who has 'Type A' tendencies to have to sit back and accept a slower pace. My brother? He just fell right into it.

Guess you have to capitalize it to get it censored.

Just tested. No need to capitalize.
