Does anyone know when this is taking place ? I can't find anything about this year's race except on a sponser site that said it was taking place on Aug 31. Even the www.nycbikerace.com site has no info on it.

I heard they are not having them this year, I think the sponsors backed out. Hoping to get them back for 2006

Cancelled. No sponsors. The course is boring. Bloomberg is a moron too since he has no intention to make it happen. He actually wore the Yellow Jersey the first time the race was held, with Armstrong racing it. John Kerry actually went to France to see Lance.
