I hear everyone talking about bibs for thier shorts but have no idea to what they are? Can someone help me? Pics and/or links would help. How about OCP? And any other terms that might confuse someone new.

OCP is something about rich, fat guys on expensive bikes who don't compete.....I think.

I like them because they don't cut into you at the midsection when you're bent over on the handlebars. I wear both bibs and shorts, but I prefer the bibs. Harder to go to the bathroom, though... (I'm a gal.)

I just ordered my first set of bibs from Performance today - bought the '03 Performance Ultra shorts after reading up on them on here. Bibs make a lot more sense to me - I've got those "lovehandles" and regular shorts tend to cut in or roll down a bit, and then it bunches up on me.

I honestly don't know why I'm taking offense as opposed to just letting it go.
A poser in it's purest form is somebody claiming or acting to be something they are not. Distributing false information under the umbrella of "knowledge" certainly falls into that category.

Sorry you took offence at my joke.
That's why I said "I was ticking 3 from 4". It was meant to be more about the seemingly unstoppable spread my midriff has been undertaking since I finished racing than anything else.
Apologies to OCP members!
