Car wax on a bike?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I use Pig Spit on my frame. It's a motorcycle polish available at any Harley-Davidson dealership. No buffing....just spray on...let it sit for a minute then wipe it off.

I use Griote' s car wax. Kind of a local company in Tacoma but I am sure it's made some where else. I was into the designer stuff when I owned Mustangs. Much like a saddle, to each his own. Tire treatment, no thanks. I want as much grip as possible from the small contact patch of a 23c tire.

most people put the pledge on AFTER they wash the bike with soap and water then dry it. The pledge leaves a nice shine to the bike.
I personally just wash with soap and water like the video I posted earlier. I waxed it with Mcquires once but between washes I use white lightning bike wash, it cleans and leaves a nice shine and wax film.

yup, this. Honda Pro-Line spray polish is excellent, been using it for a decade on various "toys" like motorcycles and snowmobiles.
