Yosemite Trip

Well I finally brought my bike to Yosemite yesterday. I started at the beginning of 8 mile trail and rode to Glacier Point. The grade was pretty easy, Most of the hills around here have steeper grade. Since I never been on that road before I just kept an easy 7-8 mph speed going up, spinning 39/27. I put the 12-27 especially for this trip. There wasn't much of a shoulder, just some rough ground that you can bail on, if needed. Really no different from regular roads I ride. The round trip was about 51 miles. I even saw couple cyclists descending as I was starting the climb. Overall was a pretty fun and relaxing trip.
Only sucky parts were going through a tunnel during a climb, and getting caught in some rain during a part of a descend.

No, I rode up to Glacier Point starting at 8 Mile trail (near Bridalveil Fall). I might do Tioga Pass at a later time. Probably next year.
