Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

A pair of knee pads from HD are well worth the price.

I had little choice, the current vehicle’s lease was up and it didn’t look like a couple month’s extension was going to make a difference.

No market. In the pueblos they don’t know what ice cream is. Frozen dessert, with no trace of dairy. Those who can afford ice cream eat it at home.

There must be heated steering wheel covers out there. At Pep Boys perhaps.

Not necessarily. We have the top model because that’s what was available in last year’s model. I do like the bells and whistles but could just as well do without them. Except ac. Is ac considered to be a bell or a whistle?

I hear the Chinese intel agencies pay well for that sort of thing. I got my clearance to protect your ass from the terrorists and I guess I was successful.

...mostly warm storms, so the snow level is up higher. This one seems to be coming in warm, too. They make a lot more snow at Tahoe, now, than in the past. But if it's warmer than normal, they still struggle. I forget when, but there's some annual measure of the snowpack at certain key locations. Last year was epic, to the point where people were having trouble driving to and from the place. This year, not so much

Yea so if I am home 4 days. I am going to attempt to do this 2-3 out of 4. I felt really good. The 20/40s were way too easy the way garmin layed it out. It was something like 320-360 watts target, I did that the first step and didn’t feel like I was doing anything so I bumped it up to 400. That felt more better.

Got a flat on the number 2 of third set. So once I got that changed started the third set over.
