Just wondering if any of you have tried this. The Large has the right capacity to replace my old current Specialized saddle bag and a much better shape.

They don't have a front view, so it's hard to see in the pic how wide it is.


The Medium size is narrower toward the front, but I'm not sure if it'll fit all my stuff:

• Gerber MT400 multi-tool (I might be able to do without this, but I'm nervous omitting it...)
• Bike multi-tool
• Tire levers (2)
• Patch kit (might be able to go without this too, but it's so small and might give me that second chance I need if I get a second flat on the same ride)
• CO2 inflator (I can leave this home, now that I bought a second pocket pump that mounts beneath a bottle cage)
• Spare tube (32 mm or 40 mm)
• 15 mm combo wrench (for rear axle nuts of Priority Apollo 11)

I'm 5'8" tall, 185# with a bit of extra fat on my inner thighs, but not much.

Probably not. You could strap something of similar size on temporarily just to see. A rolled up towel, football, etc. for example.

No, if it is narrower than your saddle, which it almost certainly is. We have several. Only the bloated XL version is even detectable. It holds a lot. It is arguably the best saddle bag I have ever had. The loop is perfectly designed for a cygo-light or similar tail-light that clips on. The "door" has inner mesh that enables you to pack stuff like money, credit cards, IDs, etc. easily. Roll your tube so that one end is narrower, and jam it in all the way, first. You can get a lot of stuff in it.

Obviously depends on your thighs, how you move your legs, how strapped down the bag is, etc.
But that bag really shouldnt rub for most people, based on people Ive seen using it thru the years.

I do appreciate the marketing material- apparently that pack uses Topeak's 'innovative Quick Release Buckle system'. Um...yeah, just like 90% of clip mount bags on the market.

I think I've got the large, and I haven't had any issues with it. I did modify mine slightly: I couldn't get the velcro loop around the seatpost as tight as I would have liked, so I took out the stitches and re-sewed it to move the plastic loop closer to the bag. Works great now.

Yeah, you posted a picture of the wedge pack, but not of your thighs. Whassup with that?

Guad size and thigh gap are correlated?

Realize there might be some thigh "Dunlap disease" right below the edge of the saddle. That loose strap will also be a problem because it will flap in & out. You'll need to secure it some way.
