OK, so Monday night sounds good. Thursday's I'll break out the shotput, the talc and dust up my lycra bibs for a new Over 35's Adcock Park record shot. :D

Had an interview today, with a freakin' Glaswegian, needless to say we ended up at the pub after it... at 10am :D

jock 11-30-05 09:50 PM

I've never had an interview go that badly :p

He and his bro raced track on silk tyres and bamboo rims but sadly as I grew up, I wasn't interested in much of what he had done. We didn't relate well, something I'm not happy about now :(

Don't worry about the old fella Berny - he missed that one but he had a few days in the sun to console himself as well.

Happy with the tickets for the Melb cup - back straight, opposite the finish line, one row back from the fence. If I could have an actual pick of where to sit I wouldn't do much better. Mind you, there might only be 50 people there!

Tip for the ticketek website when booking tickets for Vodophone - you can have three cracks at selecting seating. It drops the selections in a 'shopping basket'. You remove the tickets you don't like. First two options the website gave sucked, third one was great.

Yes it does sound like it will be a good move. They have some interesting ideas to make it a 'different' experience. I hope it doesn't effect my sponsorship :D
What do you think of the location?

jock 12-01-05 02:52 PM

The location is prime. It has the highest volume of traffic going past it anywhere on the coast. They just have to signpost it to make it irresistable to every man, woman, and wallet. The inside will need to get a facelift to make it visually appealling too. The current setup is so bleak it would make an undertaker cringe.

I had a great time the other nite. We had seats on the finish straight. Ryan Bayley is an absolute weapon. Love RMcK. Weirdest thing was the motor pace sprint. Seven dernies (sp) racing around each with a rider in tow. Never seen this before. Fantastic fun to watch.

Hey expat, I dropped into Hadleys on Saturday to say gday. I didn't spot you anywhere amongst the bazillion bikes they have on display so I'm guessing you must've been asleep out the back again ;)

Good setup there tho. Very cool range of bikes for all and sundry. Now all they need is some space for people to be able to walk about :)

10-4 Satdee. Did you notice the upstairs storage? I think we have 1,000 upstairs alone. And yes, it's difficult to walk through there. Getting a bike from upstairs is at least 100x worse.

jock 12-01-05 08:21 PM

I did indeed notice the cast of 1000's upstairs.

Has anyone seen a post from sacman in the last little while? He seems to have fallen off the radar.

Maybe he bought another bike and his GF performed the obligatory castration
