Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hyperon or Bora 45 WTO

Hello.
First time post…

I have a Condor Fratello with Campagnolo Zonda wheels. I’m considering a wheel upgrade. I’d continue to use the zondas in the winter with mudguards, and have a different set for the rest of the year.
I use the bike regularly to commute in london (9 miles each way) and have secure indoor storage at home and work. In the summer, I do some recreational riding and enter some events. Condor cycles suggested some Campagnolo Hyperons for £1500 (not the Ultras). The other option would be the Bora WTO 45s (also Ultras) at £2000. I believe the RRP for both sets is about the same at about £2300 so obviously the Hyperons have been discounted significantly.
I can get these on the Cycle2Work scheme so they become more like £900 for the Hyperons, or £1200 for the Boras.
I’d like them to be noticeably different to the zondas, and will fit with a cassette and rotors for an easy swap.Vittoria Corsa Pro or similar supple tyres on the summer wheels.
What do you think?
Thanks in advance.
