Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

i too have a cateye cordless 7 and haven't had any problems with it at all on the road or in the house. it even sits almost directly inbetween my wireless router and my computer. so, go figure.

mine came with the bike, but with my luck if i had a wired i'd probably snag the wire on something and rip it out, so maybe it's a good thing other than that, weatherproofing seems to be a good point, but i still wouldn't want to test that one out any more than i have to...

Well for me it was, um, no wires. I bought a bike with internal cable routing, so it did make sense not to ruin that concept with external computer wires. I also wanted cadence, speed, time, and distance at the same time (though there may be other computer choices for that).

I have a CD300DW, and love it. Over 2.000 Km with it now, and no problems. Mounting was easy as well.
