Pssssshh.....
Just heard that sickening sound right behind me thirty minutes ago. My tube, for no reason other than it was time, decided to go flat. There was a tear right at the valve stem.
At least I am at work and not on the road. The 'oh, that's not good' looks on my coworkers' faces were pretty funny. The boss gave me a few special looks of his own as I changed the tube right in my office. Oops.
Note to self. Get new frame pump. The seventy or so lbs of pressure I managed to get in the tire will probably get me home... knock on wood.
