Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

torelli corsa strada steel

I am trying to get back into rd biking. I want a steel bike. I found a shop which suggested a corsa strada columbus life with mirage compotents, mavic wheels for about 1900. I rode a couple of Bianchis and a lemonds part steel and carbon but really like the Torelli. Any thoughts?

That's a very decent frame. I say buy it if it fits you well. You can always upgrade components later if you want.

I really like Torelli's and I agree with Wurm -- and there aren't many Torelli's on the road.

Mirage is a really low end group for that price.

Yes, but it's still not a bad group considering most of that price has to be in the frame, and wheels perhaps.

Or, he could get the frame/fork alone and do a Veloce build.
