Of course, you know that's really a rebadged 04 FUJI jersey, right?

Not likely. This is old. It's made of an acrylic/wool blend that is knit.
Maybe Fuji copied this pattern in '04.

People buy Motobecane bikes(at least people from this forum) are not buying them for their old fame but the fact that they are rebadged old year model Fuji bikes at lower prices.

Penguin... I need hard evidence... I mean collages... you know what I am sayin here...

TheKillerPenguin 09-06-05 10:54 PM

I don't post collages. I post unaltered photographs.

And my other computer is still at home, so no photos for you.

Ironic huh?
And the jersey was made in Italy!
Can't get any more "french" than that!

If poseurs go too fast, how will you get a good look of their bike? If they're going to spend all that money, they have to show it off...and one way to do that is ride very slowly... :D

i have so many friends (fellow bikers) i see in the morning on my way to work in the warmer months and in the winter there are no biker friends (fellow bikers). just me biking alone and all those cars. i like seeing other bikers.

i do like your penquins though. there is a penquin documentary showing at a local theatre in mpls and it is super good. i have always liked those birds. i learned that they walk 70 miles to mate. and they are monogomus for a whole year. wow. those birds are neato. there are so much about them i like. so cute too.

Wo, that is crazy fast man. Dude, if 19 mph = a setting of 400 watts you must have been set to like, 1052 watts man! That is so crazy, where can I get a penguin kit so I can worship you as you deserve. (and what color should my helmet straps be?)

ExMachina 09-07-05 01:30 PM

Heck yeah!!!!

Somebody's got to show em...the posers. And man it feels great, don’t it!!

Like yesterday, I flew past this kid in a wheelchair.

He was just going into the hospital and--get this—he was wearing a Livestrong wrist band! I thought "man, what a ******** poser*"

So I detoured from my normal (paper) route and jumped the curb, bunny hopped over some old guy laying on a gurney, powered my way into the hospital lobby and managed to catch the poser just as he was turning into the radiation ward.

"Nice wheels" I sneered as I passed him doing like 80 kph. Then gave a nose blow on the attending and snagged an i.v. bag on my way into the parking lot (cuz I was spent).

Guess I showed him...the little poser...I showed him REAL gooood.

helmet straps are always black. You can find a penguin kit at any gentleman's clothing store. Brooks Brothers made me one in lycra.

Wow! You are a super duper biker dude! Or it is, you are a tool!

mooger 09-07-05 04:58 PM

I honestly don't see what is wrong with a lot of you people. I am new to road biking, but I rode BMX for around three years, and the main reason I quit was the people. Who cares what components someone has on a bike, or if the the clothes they ride in are worth more than your house and they're fat, at least they ride instead of sit around all day and talk about how many people they've passed. Seriously, I'm seventeen and that's the most juvenile thing I've ever heard.

mooger 09-07-05 05:01 PM

I take that back it's probably not a lot of you, it's a select few who need to start searching for a life.

Dude, this whole thread is a joke.

Urban Shooter 09-07-05 05:56 PM

On my way back to work today I see this poser all kitted out on a sweet looking bike, not sure what brand because I flew by him doing 50 and eating my exhaust. Ha! He never had a chance and didn't even try to keep up and this was on a flat section of road. Meow!

baj32161 09-07-05 06:07 PM

Mods....PLEEEEEEEEASE put a merciful end to this thread!!!!

Urban Shooter 09-07-05 06:15 PM

Does that mean this thread will become a sticky?

baj32161 09-07-05 06:17 PM

I know where I'd like to stick it :D :D

TheKillerPenguin 09-07-05 06:22 PM

Only a poser would say such a thing.
