Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I was thinking to myself, What if?

I go to test out my next bike and I actually become a campagnolo fan? I mean I am a devoted shimano fan, but I really havent felt Campy before. As in go for a ride longer than .0000000001 miles.

I keep thinking to myself "Just Maybe!"

Well thanks anywho

Ask yourself, "Self, do I want components synonymous with cycling history or fishing tackle?"

Roadie or bassmaster. The choice is yours.

How about: "Self, do I want components synonymous with the last century or the current one?"

I tought this to. Learned in HS though that shimano has the same rep in fishing that it has in cycling. The good stuff is good and you pay for it but they also have some real crap that you still pay for.
