Racing Categories
How are riders categorizered?
I see multiple posts where people mention Cat1 through Cat5 racers.
Is there an international classification system that the rides around the country follow.
We don't have very many organized ride opportunities that I am aware of locally and I am trying to learn all I can before an opportunity comes up to ride with a group.

Cat1 though Cat5 are US amateur racing categories. Foreign and pro categories are different. For more info on US amateur bike racing, see https://www.usacycling.org/
