Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

PSA: Spelling lesson!

Brakes are those things on your bike that slow you down when you squeeze the levers on your handbars. Cars also have these.

Break is what your shoulder does when you fly over the handlebars.

Got it? Good.

Perhaps you could offer a lesson on Lose/Loose as well.

Also, Prolly is not a word no matter how you spell it.

I tried this one during the summer but it obviously had very little effect. I did however get some funny responses. I think the best was something like..."Hey, don't loose your temper, you'll sound like you've got a screw lose."

If you're at the gym and you want to know your weight, you might have to wait for someone to tell you wich way the scale is so you can weigh yourself.

If you hit loose gravel on a turn you might well lose your balance.
