Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Advice on frame size

Hi everybody!
I'm new to this forum and I pretty much guess this question or type thereof has been posted before, but here I go; I'm really tempted by a closeout deal on '05 Litespeed Tuscany frames, yet I am not sure about the frame size. Living in Europe and with the end of the frame stock rapidly approaching, I wonder whether it's wise to buy sight unseen. Anyway, my inseam length, 84cm x .67 = 56.29 which would set me up for a 56cm frame. Litespeed offer frame sizes 55 or 57 c-t, but not 56. I've heard that Litespeed's geometry for bikes such as the Tuscany runs a bit long on the top tube lenght. I'm 180cm tall (5'11"). The top tunb lengths are 55.5 and 56.5 cm for the 55 and 57 frame sizes, respectively. The guys at the store told me that I would do well on a 57 with a short stem. Any ideas??

Thanks!
