Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fetish Wheels

Does anyone have any experience or opinions about this wheelset?

If you go to their website (www.fetishcycles.com), you might notice the hubs look strikingly similar to American Classic (www.amclassic.com) hubs. I ride those hubs and they are great. It bothers me that there are very few really close-up pictures of anything and there is almost no descriptions that I could find. That leaves me a little suspect of the rims.

If they are AC hubs, then they are the same as the HED and Planet X wheels.

Those hubs are ok IF you have a deep rim. Otherwise think spagetti.

My question would be do the Fetish stickers come off.

Bought a set for my tri bike. All carbon for tubular wheels. I like them very much. Lite, responsive, and so far durable for a 215lbs. guy! They are on my TT bike so they are not my daily riders. Depends on the price, but could be a good deal.

Yes, they sure do. I can't decide if I'm gonna start peeling on my set yet...
