Storytime for ya folks…
So I get up to go for a ride this morning. I sit down to the table and start on a bowl of my usual Quaker Oats & Cherrios. Mmmmmmmmmmmm delectable! …Oops I probably shouldn’t have eaten so much. That’s okay, I can wait, it’s Saturday and it’s 15 degrees F outside anyway. 25 minutes later, “What’s that wife? ...stuff to do today?! Oh man, I’d better get a move on!” 19 degrees out now and I hop on the new
I’m feeling great! …Bike feels good, cold wind biting my face, toasty warm under the jacket, legs warm enough under the thermals + Thermafleece, and I found a good rhythm. Hey, I have a good idea, I’m feeling so good that I should take the shorter route, step it up a notch and really push myself. Close to home, I’m feeling a little weird, so when I reach the house finally, I’m right inside and
I’m completely drained of energy as I wobble out of the porcelain worshiping altar room and my kid looks up at me, and with that cute little 2yr old, ultra positive, voice behind a binky, says, “How da dit go Dad?”
…Love that kid.
So a very eventful morning for me and I loved every minute of it!
The End.
