Anyone tried WTB road tires?
I know they make great mtb tires and am considering trying the road tires. Any feedback appreciated.

Sorry, no experience with the road tires, but they are my brand of choice for my mountain bike, good tires.

I won a pair of WTB Camino Alto road tires in a race. I've had them on for 800 miles and had no problems. Traction good and I keep 120 psi in the front and 130 psi on the rear.

I used a fairly wide 700X32 WTB Slickasaurus on my commuting road bike (before it was stolen - argh) and they were essentially punctureproof. They are considered heavy as a road-bike tire.

At about 1 AM the tube popped out through the side wall and exploded.
My wife said it souded like a gunshot. I slept through it, but not her scream. Freaked the heck out of the cat.
Luckily I had a spare tube & tire for the ride. Awesome day for a ride in Marin County!
