Sidi shoe sizing versus Carnac sizing?

Sidi shoe sizing versus Carnac sizing?
Hi -
I am wondering if anyone has experience with these two models of shoe. I wear a 41 Sidi (non-mega), and was wondering how that compares to a 41 size Carnac model. I have always heard that Carnacs fit wider, so if the length was okay I would get the same size.
There are a few nice items on eBay, so I'd like to try to get the right size...
So basically, whether the sizes between the two brands are compatible... I had a set of Carnacs that were a tad small, and I don't remember the exact size I had.
